The Ventus V12 evo2 (K120) is a Max Performance Summer tire from Hankook. It is designed for drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes, and high-performance sedans who want to showcase their personality and style. These tires provide excellent traction and handling in warm dry and wet road conditions. However, they are not suitable for driving in near-freezing temperatures, snow, or ice. The Ventus V12 evo2 tires have a high-grip silica tread compound with an innovative styrene polymer that reduces tire rolling resistance, improving fuel economy without compromising dry and wet traction. The directional tread design includes notched shoulders, 3D intermediate ribs, and a continuous center rib, which contribute to enhanced dry handling and traction. The tire also features circumferential and aqua jet lateral grooves that efficiently evacuate water from the center of the tire, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and enhancing wet traction. To minimize noise, the grooves in the intermediate blocks have stealth technology and a wing tip design. Internally, the Ventus V12 evo2 tire consists of two wide steel belts reinforced by two plies of spirally wrapped jointless nylon.
