Crugen Premium (KL33) tires are light truck tires designed for use on a variety of crossover vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks. Originally developed as Original Equipment for Hyundai Santa Fe crossover vehicles, these tires are now available in various sizes to fit different vehicle models. The main purpose of these tires is to enhance the appearance of the vehicle by combining low-profile tires with large rim diameter wheels. Additionally, they offer all-season versatility and traction in light snow conditions. Although the name "Crugen Premium" replaced the previous name "City Venture Premium" in 2013, there have been no changes in the tread design, construction, or materials used. This means that Crugen Premium and City Venture Premium tires with equivalent tread depths can be used interchangeably, either individually or in pairs on axles. Crugen Premium tires are specifically engineered to handle everyday activities with confidence. They feature Kumho's advanced all-season compound, which provides enhanced traction, longer tire life, and reduced rolling resistance. The compound is molded into a tread design with symmetric variable pitch to minimize noise, resulting in a quieter ride. The independent tread blocks, along with the wide circumferential grooves, contribute to improving traction on wet roads and in light snow conditions. Internally, these tires have twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon, which adds durability and strength. Additionally, a polyester cord reinforced casing is used to promote ride comfort.
