The Raptor ZR A/S tire, created by RIKEN, is an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire designed for drivers of sporty coupes and sport sedans who desire a combination of responsive steering, performance-focused handling, and capability in inclement weather, including light snow. This tire incorporates an all-season compound and an aggressive, directional tread design aimed at providing traction in both dry and wet conditions. The tread design features an arrow-shaped pattern with wide lateral grooves that efficiently evacuate water and enhance hydroplaning resistance. The tire sidewalls are made of a stiff compound to improve handling and steering response, and there is a built-in rim protector to prevent wheel damage.
