The Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD09 is a high-performance tire designed for drivers who want a tire that combines race-inspired technology with street capability. However, it should not be used in freezing temperatures, snow, or on icy surfaces. The tire features an optimized, asymmetric pattern with large tread blocks on the outer edge, which improves responsiveness, dry cornering grip, and high-speed handling. A center rib enhances on-center feel and steering response, making it easy to transition between straight-line sprints and high-speed cornering. The inner tread section, along with a full depth circumferential groove and lateral grooves, work together with a high silica compound to minimize hydroplaning and enhance traction on wet roads. Internally, the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD09 has a robust construction. It consists of two wide steel belts, placed on top of a two-ply polyester casing with a high turn-up. This results in a rigid, three-ply polyester sidewall that adds to the tire's overall durability and stability at high speeds. Please note that if the tire is exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F or lower, it should be gradually returned to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F for at least 24 hours before any adjustments, such as inflation pressure or mounting, are made.
